The Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) appeared to stun “60 Minutes” interviewer Lesley Stahl when she repeated charges that the Democrats or the Democratic Party was “the party of pedophiles.”
Stahl interviewed Greene for Sunday’s episode, and she questioned the Georgia representative why she had referred to the Democratic Party in that way in recent weeks.

After the interview was published, Marjorie Taylor-Greene tweeted a video of the encounter and reiterated her position:
Greene has spoken out against gender change for children, whether hormonal or surgical, and has introduced the Preserve Children’s Innocence Act to prevent it.
Liberals were outraged that CBS was giving the Georgia Republican any publicity at all before the “60 Minutes” interview even aired.
During Monday’s episode of ABC’s “The View,” the hosts were upset that Stahl had not fought back more against Greene’s claims.
