Marjorie Taylor Greene: ‘Ray Epps should be in jail’

Leer en Español

Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene went nuclear via Twitter after the Committee to Investigate the January 6th riots on the United States Capitol released the testimony of Ray Epps and several others interviewed in its investigation.

Federalist CEO Sean Davis tweeted out the testimony on Friday, drawing Greene’s reaction.

The congresswoman quoted Sean Davis’ tweets along with her thoughts on the subject:

Number one, Ray Epps should be in jail. Number two, those members of Congress should not be seated and should face serious ethics charges for abuse of power. Number three, they should have to pay for all the attorney fees for the people they politically persecuted.

When Ray Epps was asked to elaborate, he said to the panel, “What I meant by ‘orchestrate,’ I helped get people there.”

To this date, it remains unclear why Epps hasn’t been arrested after his participation in the January 6th riots considering that many others who participated have been tracked down and charged.
