Kevin McCarthy Slams Journalists for Ignoring Biden Doc Scandal

Reporters’ inquiries about President Joe Biden’s careless handling of confidential materials enraged House Speaker Kevin McCarthy.

McCarthy stated, “I see it could go from that committee or others, but I think Congress has to investigate this.” in reference to the new “weaponization of the federal government” subcommittee.

McCarthy criticized the media and Democrats for covering Biden’s position differently than when the FBI searched former President Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago residence in August.

“From one standpoint they knew the documents were there — they actually asked President Trump to put another lock on it, so they were locked,” McCarthy said

Republicans are raising the alarm after secret documents were found in President Biden’s Wilmington home’s garage as well as his think tank.

Questions have been raised about the U.S. Secret Service’s lack of transparency over the absence of visitor logs from Biden’s Delaware residence.

Although a protection unit is assigned to secure Biden’s Delaware residence, the U.S. Secret Service acknowledged on Sunday that they do not keep track of visitors.

“We don’t independently maintain our own visitor logs because it’s a private residence,” U.S. Secret Service spokesman told reporters.

“There are no visitor logs for President Biden’s home in Wilmington, Delaware, the White House Counsel’s office said in a Monday statement. Republicans on Capitol Hill demanded the visitor logs this weekend following revelations that Biden’s lawyers had discovered a stash of classified documents inside the home’s garage. While it is common practice to keep comprehensive visitor logs at the White House, Biden’s lawyers say no such record exists for his home in Delaware,” Fox News reported.

Investigative journalist Paul Sperry stated in a social media post on Monday that a “rumor” going around Washington, D.C., is suggestive of who may have been behind the news that President Biden kept a number of classified documents after leaving office as vice president of then-President Barack Obama, possibly in violation of the law.

Also, Rep. Lauren Boebert stated that Hunter Biden’s disclosure form, which listed a sizable monthly rent payment to his father Joe Biden, was actually a money-laundering scheme deserving of scrutiny.

The New York Post reported that Hunter Biden intermittently resided at the Delaware residence where it was recently reported that sensitive documents were stashed in a garage, raising concerns about their security. In addition, while having access to the records, Hunter developed a drug addiction, engaged in dubious international business dealings, and was the target of a federal inquiry.
