New evidence reveals the close relationship Hunter Biden has had with the Chinese regime and his business aspirations with that country. A new report states that the son of now President Joe Biden was to be “happy” to introduce his associates to a senior Chinese Communist Party official to discuss future investments.

According to Fox News, James Bulger, who was Hunter Biden’s business partner, asked him in an email to introduce them to Tung Chee-hwa, a billionaire and Hong Kong’s first CEO who was serving as vice chairman of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) in 2014.

In the 2014 email, Bulger asked Hunter to introduce BHR executive director Jonathan Li and Andy Lu, who was a BHR committee member, to “Mr. Tung” to discuss “BHR’s investment targets” and “fundraising.”

In asking for the favor of meeting him, Bulger recalled that Hunter sat next to Tung at a 2013 welcome dinner held by the Chinese president for then-Vice President Joe Biden in Beijing.

Simply put, Hunter Biden was at an official dinner for his father, there he met Chinese billionaire Tung and from there, his associate Bulger hoped negotiations would ensue.

“It is my understanding that during the trip to Beijing that you made with your father, President Xi hosted a welcome dinner,” Bulger wrote.

“At that dinner, you were seated right next to Mr Tung, therefore J and Andy believe it would be very helpful if you could please send a brief email to Mr. Tung laying out that you are a partner and Board Member of BHR and that You would be grateful to Mr Tung if he could meet your local partners to discuss the Fund,” he added.

BHR is the Chinese company Bohai Harvest RST (Shanghai) Equity Investment Fund Management, in which Hunter Biden held a 10% stake through a company called Skaneateles LLC. BHR is owned primarily by Chinese investors, including the state-controlled Bank of China.

Hunter responded that he was “happy” to comply with the request, but said he could not recall the names of the gentlemen who sat next to him at the dinner.

“Happy to do this,” Hunter Biden wrote, “but I have no email address for Mr. Tung and he very well may have sat next to me but I don’t recall the two gentlemen’s names to my left and right. Regardless, I would suggest the team draft an email in Mandarin and English for my approval ASAP.”

It is unknown if any meeting or communication took place between the Chinese billionaire, Bulger, and Hunter Biden’s business associates.

According to Fox News, the Beijing “welcome dinner” hosted by President Xi —which Bulger referenced in his initial email— occurred during the evening of December 4, 2013, after then Chinese Vice President Li Yuanchao met with Joe Biden that same day to discuss strengthening U.S.-China relations.

In 2015, the year following the Tung emails, emails obtained by Free Beacon and verified by Fox News show that Hunter and his business partners assisted an organization that sought to co-opt state leaders as part of Beijing’s expanding foreign influence operation to find an outlet in the United States while his father was vice president.

Joe Biden also facilitated Hunter-China relations

In May, an email surfaced that revealed that before he got to the White House, Biden paid more than $800,000 in bills that pertained to his son, including legal expenses for overseas business.

A report published by the Daily Mail shows an email between Hunter’s personal assistant, Katie Dodge, and Biden’s accountant, Linda Shapero, that sought to define a plan to pay some legal fees that Hunter had to pay.

The email, sent by Dodge on Jan. 19, 2019, read, “I spoke with Hunter today regarding his bills. It is my understanding that Hunt’s dad will cover these bills in the short-term as Hunter transitions in his career.”

The spreadsheet shows that Hunter Biden’s debts included more than $130,000 in legal fees owed “as soon as possible” to the law firm of Faegre Baker Daniels, with $28,382 owed for the “BHR restructuring.”

According to the New York Times, Chinese records show that Hunter Biden was no longer on BHR’s board of directors as of April 2020.
