Most voters agree that President Joe Biden should face impeachment, including more than a third of Democrats. Still, Americans have little hope in the face of GOP inaction in that regard, according to Rasmussen.
According to a recent poll, 52% of voters would support the impeachment of the unpopular President Biden, including 77% of Republicans, 32% of Democrats, and 50% of independents.
In contrast, 42% of Americans oppose the idea, including 30% who strongly oppose it.

However, Americans consider it unlikely that the Republican Party will introduce articles of impeachment against Biden. While 47% believe it is likely that GOP leaders will impeach Biden, 43% believe they will not.
Doubts are brewing even within the GOP itself. Some 33% of Republican voters believe party leaders will not launch the initiative.
According to an analysis by the firm, voters see the November midterms as a referendum against Biden. Thus, a good portion of Americans estimate that impeachment is more likely to happen if the GOP wins the House and Senate.
“Support for impeaching Biden is highest among voters 40-64, who are also most likely to think that if Republicans win in the midterms, they actually will impeach the president. Retirees are least supportive of impeaching Biden,” the report reads.
