Musk Says He’ll Vote Republican for First Time — Then Slams Biden and Reveals the ‘Real’ President

Billionaire tech CEO Elon Musk revealed that he will vote Republican for the first time in his life. Then he savaged President Joe Biden by revealing the “real” president. Watch:

“The real president is whoever controls the teleprompter,” the Tesla CEO said. “The path to power is the path to the teleprompter.”

“I do feel like if somebody were to accidentally lean on the teleprompter, it’s going to be like Anchorman,” the CEO added.

But he was just getting warmed up. He also explained why he was voting for Republicans after a history of voting for Democrats.

“I have voted overwhelmingly for Democrats historically. I’m not sure, I might never have voted for a Republican, just to be clear. Now, this election, I will.”

Musk explained why he previously voted for Obama — twice. He described Obama as “quite reasonable” and added, “In the case of Biden, he is simply too much captured by the unions, which was not the case with Obama.”

He also had some positive things to say about the Trump administration.

“This administration doesn’t seem to get a lot done,” Musk said. “The Trump administration, leaving Trump aside, there were a lot of people in the administration who were effective at getting things done.”

Musk’s criticism of Biden occurred during an appearance on Monday on the “All-In Podcast.”

Elon Musk also had some withering criticism of the record inflation that has been fueled by Biden’s spendthrift policies.

“I mean, the obvious reason for inflation is that the government printed a zillion amount of more money than it had, obviously,” Musk noted.

“So it’s like the government can’t just, you know, issue checks far in excess of revenue without there being inflation, you know, velocity of money held constant,” the Tesla CEO argued. “If the federal government writes checks, they never bounce. So that is effectively creation of more dollars. And if there are more dollars created, then the increase in the goods and services across the economy, then you have inflation, again, velocity of money held constant.”

Musk had some unusual company in his view of inflation under Biden. Fellow tech billionaire Jeff Bezos also lambasted the inflationary policies.

“Look, a squirrel!” Bezos tweeted. “This is the White House’s statement about my recent tweets. They understandably want to muddy the topic. They know inflation hurts the neediest the most. But unions aren’t causing inflation and neither are wealthy people.

“Remember the Administration tried … their best to add another $3.5 TRILLION to federal spending. They failed, but if they had succeeded, inflation would be even higher than it is today, and inflation today is at a 40 year high,” Bezos added.

Bezos sent the White House bees buzzing with a salvo issued on Sunday.

“In fact, the administration tried hard to inject even more stimulus into an already over-heated, inflationary economy and only Manchin saved them from themselves,” Bezos said. “Inflation is a regressive tax that most hurts the least affluent. Misdirection doesn’t help the country.”

So, even independent and left-wing observers know what is causing inflation in America — and it’s not Vladimir Putin. No wonder the Democrats desperately want to change the subject by pivoting to abortion or to race or even to Covid again. As Chuck Todd recently pointed out, the Democratic Party is due for a shellacking in the midterm elections.
