Biden’s student debt forgiveness could cost $1 trillion

According to the Penn-Wharton School of Business of the University of Pennsylvania, Biden’s plan to slash $10,000 of college debt for all Americans earning under $125,000 may cost $1 trillion. Some “better” estimates, indicate that the cost would be $500 billion, which is half of what the fiscal deficit was before Covid-19. Juan Felipe Vélez explains the logic behind this number and how the Biden administration intends to pay for the debt relief.

Liberal NY school director under fire after racist comments

NY’s Trinity School placed its director of student activities on paid leave while an outside counsel investigates videos in which the woman admits pushing left-wing politics in the classroom and makes racist comments against white students.

When asked in a video if white Republican boys can “be saved,” the director answers “‘I don’t know. I think they need to go. I think they’re really awful people. That’s kind of what I’m afraid of with my white students that are rich. I’m like — do you ever have to deal with this? They’re so protected by capitalism. It makes me sad.” She also admitted to not allowing Republican guest speakers to the school in videos revealed by Project Veritas. Williams Perdomo writes all the details.

Maduro criticizes Chilean president after constitutional referendum defeat

Common sense prevailed on Sunday when the far-left proposed constitution was defeated in Chile with high participation and by a solid 22 percent margin.

But of course, Venezuela’s dictator could not hold his breath and throw his two cents into the discussion by criticizing Chilean president, Gabriel Boric saying that “there was a lack of a firm, clear, credible leadership, with popular support, to take the lead on the constitutional text.”

Clearly, Maduro thinks that Boric should just follow the Chavista script and steal the election no matter how wide is the margin. But Chile is not as lost—yet.
