Neymar is a figure that polarizes and divides. There are those who love him and those who hate him. His haters are particularly heavy, joined by the sports media who have never forgiven him for certain extra-sporting trifles.
But now the Western press and his haters have a new reason to hate him: supporting Bolsonaro.
How dare Neymar support the “ultra-right” Bolsonaro? Why doesn’t he support, better, the socialist and friend of tyrants, murderers and criminals Lula da Silva?
Neymar has been harshly criticized internationally for dancing a TikTok and asking Brazilians to vote for Bolsonaro’s list 22. The reality is that those who talk about democracy, social struggles and minorities today do not allow dissent. The logic of these fakers is that if you are with Bolsonaro you are an evil millionaire who only looks after his interests, but if you are with Lula you are a soccer idol who understands the class struggle and social problems. Pure bullsh*t narrative. Discard it and keep Neymar JR’s courageous stance.
