“We don’t have time to be wasting on these phony, trumped-up culture wars, this fake outrage that right wing media’s pedals to juice their ratings,” said an outraged Barack Obama last week at a campaign rally to promote Terry McAuliffe‘s Virginia gubernatorial candidacy.
The former president went out on the road to give hugs and hand out endorsements, in the last act he raised the arm of McAuliffe, the guy who thinks that parents should have no role in the education of their children; who supports the teaching of Critical Race Theory in schools; and who has also been pushing gender theories and the sexualization of children from a very early age. But no, of course not, America is not facing any culture wars, Mr. Obama, you are absolutely right.
In fact, to corroborate the former president’s point, let’s look at what happened with the book “Gender Queer.” Until a couple of weeks ago in a Virginia school library system you could find the book by author Maia Kobabe, who identifies herself as “queer, non-binary and asexual,” and whose author profile on The Nib showcases her as someone who writes about “identity, sexuality, anti-fascism, fairy tales and nostalgia.” It is curious that being “asexual” Kobabe has produced a book for minors with explicit illustrations, such as the one showing two men having sex, and where images of fellatio and masturbation can be seen. Of course, I can’t think of a more appropriate book for children, surely that’s what they have been looking for all this time, a comic book that teaches them how to give oral sex to their friends.
Moreover, were it not for “terrorist” parents seeking to have a say in the affairs of schools, the book Gender Queer would still be in the Virginia school library system, and children would be quite pleased to see its pages over and over again. It is for this reason that it becomes vital to protect the candidacy of Terry McAuliffe, the man who is committed to getting parents out of the schools and defending the party’s right to educate and ideologize the youngest children.
The non-existent culture wars, according to Obama
I have to agree with Obama on this, the culture war does not exist, it is an invention of the far-right and white supremacists, as is the case of African American Larry Elder, who dared to run against the non-racist white liberal Gavin Newson for governor of California; or another white supremacist, Condoleezza Rice, who dared to say: “I would like black children to be fully empowered, to know that they are beautiful in their blackness, but to do that I don’t have to make white children feel bad about being white.” What kind of supremacist aberration is this? Notice how Ms. Rice advocates hate?
The Washington Post, a liberal media par excellence, recently published an article in the same dynamic titled: “Parents claim they have the right to design their children’s curriculum. They don’t,” written by University of Massachusetts Lowell professor Jack Schneider and journalist Jennifer Berkshire. Progressives have it very clear: in the United States there is no culture war, it is even silly to think that power or culture are under discussion, in the liberal democratic world the party’s orders are executed without complaint: no discussions, fights, points of view, you do what the elite says and the rest obey; war is peace, freedom is slavery, ignorance is strength, and that is the best we can aspire to.
In fact, to further support Obama’s point, we must remember the case of the father arrested for reporting that his daughter was raped by a young man dressed in a skirt who entered the women’s restroom. What parent would think of reporting a transgender person who suffers so much discrimination? Surely that man was a transphobic terrorist, McAuliffe is right, those parents need to be kept well away from schools or it could damage the beautiful progressive and inclusive world the party is creating, where even transgenders have equal opportunity to rape women.
What is happening in America, far from being a culture war, is an awakening, enough of freedoms and wealth, it is time for oppression and submission, we need a nation with a one-party system of government, fluid genders, racial quotas and radical socialism, let the rich die!
Thank you, President Obama! For unveiling the black faces of white supremacy, and the radical ultra-conservative parents who believe they have the right to decide on their children’s education. We will never again be fooled by the extreme right-wing and their terrorist system of liberties. Hurray Big Brother!
