In Los Angeles, California, at least two parents are accusing a school of vaccinating their children against COVID without their consent. In addition, they explained that their children were allegedly offered pizza to accept the shot and not tell their family what happened.
One of the mothers is Maribel Duarte, a Latina who says her 13-year-old son, a student at the Barack Obama Global Preparation Academy, came home with a vaccination card. Duarte said she did not authorize the dose to be given.
Duarte said she fears for her son’s health because he suffers from asthma and allergies, which is why she did not authorize his vaccination.
Los Angeles School District
The mother assured that the child accepted when someone offered him the vaccine in exchange for a pizza. Children claim, the woman argues, that they were not supposed to tell their parents.
Media outlets contacted authorities to hear from the Los Angeles School District. However, district sources said there would be no comment on the matter.
