Democratic Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi, a Democrat said on Friday that her party will proceed with efforts to pass another impeachment against Trump if he doesn’t leave office immediately. She also revealed that she spoke to the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff about the POTUS’ state of mind after he encouraged “the crowd to storm the Capitol this week.”

“If the president does not leave office imminently and voluntarily, Congress will proceed with our action,” Pelosi wrote in a letter to House Democrats, pushing for an impeachment as early as Monday.

Pelosi admitted that she called for restraint on “unstable” President Trump should he not resign voluntarily, fearing a possible “nuclear attack.” “This morning, I spoke with the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Mark Milley, to discuss the precautions available to prevent an unstable president from initiating military hostilities or accessing launch codes and ordering a nuclear attack.”

“We must do everything possible to protect the American people from his unbalanced assault on our country and our democracy,” added Pelosi, who did not say in the letter how General Milley had responded.

“The situation with this unbalanced president could not be more dangerous,” he warned. The Pentagon’s Joint Chiefs of Staff acknowledged the call on Friday, but did not provide details. “Spokeswoman Pelosi initiated a call with the president of the staff,” said Col. Dave Butler, as reported by The Wall Street Journal.

The House Speaker’s reckless attitude and pushing for impeachment seems to be caused by the theft of one of her computers during the Capitol riot.

Pelosi told Democrats that she was scheduled to call Biden this Friday to discuss the riot on Capitol Hill and the Democrats’ desire to remove Trump from office, according to two people familiar with the issue.

The current Democratic agenda is quite risky. Pelosi’s serious statements show that all actions are revolving around getting a session to vote on the impeachment of President Trump or removal through the 25th Amendment. Coupled with this would be the preparation and sending of articles of impeachment to the Senate led by Vice President Mike Pence. However, Pence has already rejected the use of this Amendment and this strategy in general.

Two months after an arduous legal battle trying to prove the election fraud he denounced, President Trump acknowledged his defeat in a video he posted on his personal account after being heavily criticized by Democrats and Republicans for the unrest in Washington, which culminated in a mob storming the Capitol, where officials and citizens ended up dead, others injured or in critical condition.

In his address, Trump promised justice and law against the vandalism and violence that broke out in the Capitol on Wednesday, January 6th.

rump also revealed that he would not attend President-elect Joe Biden’s inauguration on January 20th. However, he did not stop sending messages to his and stated that “75,000,000 great American patriots will not be disrespected or treated unfairly in any way or form.”
