Fox News’ Peter Doocy Has Parting Words for Jen Psaki — Watch Her Awkward Reaction

White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki and Fox News’ correspondent Peter Doocy have had their fair share of tense exchanges over the departing Press Sec’s tenure.

Peter Doocy offered Psaki his honest assessment of her performance as Press Secretary. Watch:

Awkward.

Psaki, who is remaining in her role until May 13th, when incoming press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre will take over, will be heading to far-left cable news network MSNBC. Psaki will reportedly host her own show on the network, which is struggling in its primetime ratings in the post-Trump presidency.

During a live taping of the Pod Save America podcast in April, Psaki had shown her disdain for Doocy by indirectly referring him to an “S.O.B.”

“Is he a stupid son of a b*** (bleep) or does he play a stupid son of a (bleep) on TV?” the host asked Psaki.

Will the new Press Secretary be just as awful as Jen Psaki?*

“Well, he works for a network… that provides people with questions that, nothing personal to any individual, including Peter Doocy, but might make anyone sound like a stupid son of a (bleep),” she said.

Even CNN defended Fox News’ Doocy in a segment over the tiff. It was that bad.

Jen Psaki and Peter Doocy clashed in the aftermath of the incident following the infamous ‘stupid SOB’ incident.

“Why is it that we can sit here in the White House briefing room with no masks, but people can’t sit in an airplane cabin with no masks?” Doocy asked in reference to the national mask mandate being struck down in a federal court in Florida on Monday.

“Well, Peter, I’m not a doctor,” she said condescendingly. “You’re not a doctor that I’m aware of. If you’re a doctor, I wasn’t aware of that today until today. Okay. Not a doctor. Just making sure. I don’t know. “

The episode was reflective of their oft-tense and fairly combative relationship. Doocy’s classy remarks for Psaki and her snarky reply thus illustrate a stark contrast between the Biden administration and its critics.

Psaki has acted relatively unrestrained in embracing extreme left politics since the reports broke that she will be leaving her position to join MSNBC.

She has defended the Biden administration’s Disinformation Board while brushing aside concerns for Americans’ civil liberties. She has given support for President Biden’s position that abortion should be lawful throughout the United States until the moment of birth. And most strikingly, she has dismissed concerns for the safety and independence of the Supreme Court, whose conservative justices are under siege by left-wing protesters — even causing Justice Sam Alito to go into hiding.

It is hoped that incoming White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre will be less adversarial with the Biden administration’s critics, but this is far from what her track record shows.

In December 2016, following the initial floating of discredited Trump-Russia collusion stories, Jean-Pierre was quick to frame the recently held election as “stolen.”

Jean-Pierre also claimed the Georgia election was stolen in 2018.

The incoming White House Press Secretary has a consistent record of partisan activism going back to the Obama administration. Her record was highlighted in a recent article by Fox News’ media reporter Joseph A. Wulfsohn.

“Jean-Pierre began her career in Democratic politics by working as director of legislative and budget affairs for New York City Council Member James Gennaro after she finished school in 2003,” Wulfsohn reports. “She took her first job on the campaign trail as the southeast regional political director for John Edwards’ 2008 presidential campaign.”

“After O’Malley dropped out of the Democratic primary, Jean-Pierre joined the liberal activist group MoveOn.org as a senior adviser until she joined the Biden campaign in May 2020 as a senior adviser and later the chief of staff for then vice-presidential candidate Kamala Harris,” the report continued.

“Following the 2020 election, Jean-Pierre was tapped as part of an all-female senior White House communications team,” the report noted.

Jean-Pierre has a long history of calling former President Trump a “racist,” as the Fox News article shows.

“Donald Trump put his hand on the Bible… and took the oath of the presidency to be a president for all of us,” Jean-Pierre said on MSNBC in 2019. “And since that day, since that moment, every hour, he seems to just prove that to be wrong, right? He is not a president for Black people. He’s not a president for women. He’s not a president for brown people. He’s not a president for the LGBTQ community. He chooses to just double down and triple down on bigotry and racism.”

“I don’t know where Donald Trump wants to take this. But wherever it is, it’s going to be dangerous. It could lead to some sort of a horrible civil war,” she added.

Jean-Pierre has acted like a radical throughout her career: She has claimed Republicans are lying about CRT being taught in schools, she has cried “racism” at every opportunity, including in regards to labeling Covid-19 the “China virus,” and she has endorsed authoritarian policies enacted throughout the Covid pandemic.

Thus, as difficult as it may be for some Americans to believe, there is a strong probability that Jen Psaki’s successor is even more partisan than she was.
