Pfizer Statement after Project Veritas video raises more questions

Last Friday night, Pfizer issued a statement following the shocking Project Veritas video that revealed a director admitting the business is engaged in “directed evolution” research to examine how COVID can evolve in order to “preemptively produce new vaccines.”

Pfizer denied undertaking gain of function or directed evolution research in the creation of the COVID-19 vaccine in an effort to “set the record straight.” in their own words. However, according to the business, there are some instances “when a virus does not have any known gain of function mutations, such virus may be engineered to enable the assessment of antiviral activity in cells.” which might be considered as gain-of-function research and makes the whole message a bit confusing for the public.

Fox News’ Tucker Carlson responded to the “bizarre” revelation by calling the admission that regulators demand these trials “huge news if true” and enquiring as to whose regulators required them. Since U.S. regulators frequently apply for employment at Pfizer after leaving the government, as the Pfizer director says in the film, there is a revolving door between the two parties.

Carlson also said that the story was being censored by Google as Project Veritas’ director James O’Keefe claimed on Social Media.

He urged Congress to demand clarification. Watch:

In an apparent effort to get the least amount of notice possible, Pfizer released the press statement late on a Friday night. Despite their feeble effort at a rebuttal, the findings in the Project Veritas video are undoubtedly alarming.

Some politicians also started asking questions after the video was released to the public. One of them was Florida senator Marco Rubio. Rubio noted in a letter to CEO Albert Bourla that the worker characterized the vaccines particularly as the company’s “cash cow.”

“Whether it’s gain of function research, or selected structure mutations through directed evolution, as Mr. Walker claimed would occur, any effort to make a virus more transmittable and deadlier is careless and dangerous. Further, Mr. Walker stated that Pfizer is willing to engage in this dangerous research because COVID and its variants are ‘a cash cow’ for the company and regulators will go easy on their efforts because a significant percentage of government officials aim to work for Pfizer and other biopharmaceutical companies and do not want to compromise their future job prospects.” Senator Rubio said in his letter.

Furthermore, Senator Rubio asked if Pfizer was planning to continue manipulating the SARS-CoV-2 virus through gain-of-function or directed evolution research in order to produce new vaccines before the variation becomes widespread.

This story is developing.
