Red Hot Chili Peppers Announces World Tour in 2022

Red Hot Chili Peppers announced today a new world stadium tour that will kick off on June 4, 2022, at La Cartuja in Seville and will visit 32 cities, including Barcelona, London, Paris, Dublin, Los Angeles, Chicago and New York.

The tour, produced by Live Nation, will mark the return to the group of its legendary guitarist John Frusciante, who left in 2007 to focus on his solo career.

The Californian band will perform the hits of his career and songs from his next album and will feature various guest artists, such as A$AP Rocky and Thundercat in Spain and Beck, The Strokes, King Princess and St Vincent in other countries, according to a statement from the promoter.

Tickets will go on sale on October 15 at 10 a.m. on the band’s website and there will be a pre-sale for fans from Saturday, October 9 in North America and from Wednesday, October 13 in Europe.

After Seville, the Red Hot will act, on June 7, in the Olympic Stadium of Barcelona and from there they will travel to Nijmegen (Netherlands), Budapest, Florence, Manchester, London, Dublin, Glasgow, Leuven (Belgium), Cologne (Germany), Paris and Hamburg (Germany).

On July 23 the American tour begins in Denver and will continue in San Diego, Santa Clara (California), Los Angeles, Seattle, Las Vegas, Toronto, Miami, Atlanta, Nashville, Detroit, E. Rutherford, Chicago, Charlotte, Philadelphia, Washington, Boston, Orlando and finally, on September 18, Arlington (Texas).

The group led by Anthony Kiedis has announced the news of their tour with a video in which they all appear in disguise imitating news anchors to list one by one the cities they will visit throughout 2022.
