The Republican State Leadership Committee (RSLC) addresses the flood of Latino voters joining the GOP and the Democrats’ “hypocrisy” toward the Hispanic community in its first Spanish-language ad.

“The Democrats don’t take us seriously,” says the Hispanic narrator at the beginning of the ad, followed by a famous clip of Jill Biden attempting to speak Spanish. “They don’t respect us,” he continues.

The ad highlights how Democrats take for granted support from Latino voters, and contrasts their rhetoric with that of the Republican Party, which offers a freedom-centered agenda to “help them thrive.”

The RSLC points out that the Democrats “are great at promising, but not good at governing,” as their policies hinder progress for all Americans. The ad highlights that under the blue party’s “one-party rule” there are “no good jobs, no affordable gas and food,” and no quality education.

Unlike the Democratic Party’s sectorization, which addresses Latinos as a homogeneous community that “eats tacos for breakfast,” the Republican ad assumes the Latino community as part of the American people as a whole.

“Republicans believe that success lies in the freedom to prosper,” the ad says. “Republican policies will move us forward.”
