Former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani was hit on Sunday in the back by an employee of a supermarket in New York where his son Andrew Giuliani was holding a campaign rally for his campaign for governor of the state, according to the politician and lawyer.
Giuliani in a press conference held Monday through his Facebook page, said he felt as if he was hit in the back with a rock.
According to the former mayor, the assailant insulted him and told him that he was a murderer of women and that his party, the Republican Party, also killed women.
The assailant, identified as Daniel Gill, 39, was charged with second-degree assault, according to police.
Giuliani said that if Mr. Gill is let free, a lot more pro-abortion people are going to start attacking people.
