The Satanic Temple announces a ‘religious’ abortion clinic called ‘Samuel Alito’s Mom.’

The Satanic Temple (TST) is preparing to open a telemedicine abortion clinic in New Mexico, and it is to be called mockingly after the mother of the pro-life Supreme Court justice who wrote the majority opinion in Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization, which reversed Roe v. Wade.

TST revealed its plans to open “The Samuel Alito’s Mom’s Satanic Abortion Clinic” in a news release. Malcolm Jarry, one of the co-founders of TST, suggested in a press release that Alito’s mother ought to have aborted him or that she would have done so if it had been permitted at the time.

Erin Helian, Executive Director of Campaigns of TST said in a statement:

“TST is proud to expand reproductive options for our members. This is just the beginning,” “We will remain steadfast as we continue the fight to uphold reproductive justice in the United States.”

The Satanic Temple invented an “abortion ritual” in 2020, which the group claims is a religious rite for Satanists and demanded its recognition as a protected religious practice.

Also, according to the news release, the group claims that its “ritual” is not constrained by abortion-related legislation because of its First Amendment rights.

The Third Tenet, which states that “One’s body is inviolable, subject to one’s own will alone” is recited in front of a mirror before having an abortion in the temple. They repeat the Fifth Tenet, “Beliefs should conform to one’s best scientific understanding of the world. One should take care never to distort scientific facts to fit one’s beliefs” after taking the medicine. It is important to remember to never twist scientific data to support your own ideas when standing in front of a mirror. They say a personal affirmation after passing the body of the unborn child: “By my body, by my blood, by my will it is done.”

Despite continuing to assert its right to freedom of religion, TST has continually failed to have pro-life laws overturned.

The abortion clinic, which is a part of TST Health, stated that it will soon start operating in more states.
