For the first time, a report revealed how the biggest conspiracy against Donald Trump was hatched to bring about his electoral defeat. TIME magazine which published “the secret story” behind Joe Biden’s victory, also confirmed that Big Tech was behind it and planned the censorship.

TIME revealed that there was a plot by “a well-funded clique of powerful people, spanning industries and ideologies” to “influence perceptions, change rules and laws, direct media coverage and control the flow of information.”

Big Tech and secret meetings

The magazine confirmed what has been reported: with censorship and under the plea of “enforcing the rules,” Big Tech played into the hands of the left to bring about Donald Trump’s defeat.

“Protecting the election would require an effort of unprecedented scale. As 2020 progressed, it spilled over to Congress, Silicon Valley and the nation’s branches of government,” TIME‘s report admitted.

“They successfully pressured social media companies to take a harder line against disinformation and used data-driven strategies to combat viral defamations.”

TIME calls censorship the “hardest line against disinformation,” yet today confirms that Trump was not wrong to denounce a conspiracy against him, between Big Tech companies and the Democratic Party.

According to TIME, Laura Quinn, a veteran progressive operative who co-founded Catalist, was behind the pressure on Big Tech to achieve censorship.

Quinn “piloted a secret, unnamed project, which she had never before discussed publicly, that tracked disinformation online and tried to figure out how to combat it (…) The solution, she concluded, was to pressure platforms to enforce their rules, both by removing content or accounts that spread disinformation and by monitoring more aggressively in the first place.”

“In November 2019, Mark Zuckerberg invited nine civil rights leaders to dinner at his home, where they warned him about the danger of election-related falsehoods that were already spreading unchecked,” notes TIME.

According to the report the “leftist leaders” pressured Big Tech executives to implement censorship:

“It took lobbying, urging, conversation, brainstorming, all of that to get to a place where we ended up with more stringent rules and enforcement,” Vanita Gupta, President and CEO of the Leadership Conference on Civil and Human Rights, who attended the dinner and also met with Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey and others, told TIME.

Earlier in January, a video of Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey was leaked, where it became clear that the mass censorship on Twitter was planned.

“This is going to be much bigger than a single account, and it’s going to last much longer than this day,” Dorsey said in the video, referring to the blocking of President Donald Trump’s Twitter account.

“We’re focused on one account [@realDonaldTrump] right now, but it will be much bigger than a single account, and it will go on for much longer than this day, this week and the next few weeks, and it will go on beyond the inauguration,” Dorsey said . “And we have to expect that and we have to be prepared for that,” he warned in the video.

Censorship by Big Tech has occurred toward any conservative Facebook or Twitter user. TIME‘s report made it clear that it is no coincidence that the largest social networks are looking to clear the path of what bothers them. These companies also contributed thousands of dollars to Joe Biden’s presidential campaign.

A New York Post report revealed that a review of Federal Election Commission records showed that Facebook’s Vice President of Public Policy and Chief Privacy Officer, Erin Egan, donated $99,440.01 to the Democrats and Biden, in the final weeks of the election race.

Similarly, Facebook CFO David Wehner donated $2,800 to Biden’s campaign and the same amount to Democrat Amy McGrath’s failed bid.

David Fischer, Facebook’s Chief Revenue Officer, also donated $2,800 to Biden during the Democratic primaries, and another $750 during the general election.
