Shana Chappell, mother of Marine Kareem Nikoui (20), who was killed at Kabul airport by ISIS, denounced on Facebook that Instagram deleted her account after she harshly criticized President Joe Biden for the controversial troop withdrawal in Afghanistan that triggered the worst foreign policy crisis in recent U.S. history.

“It seems Instagram took it upon themselves to delete my account because I am assuming it was because I gained so many followers over my son’s death due to Biden’s negligence,” read one of Ms. Chappell’s posts. “He’s a traitor!”.

“I’m gonna assume that Facebook is gonna delete me next! Funny how these leftist one sided pieces of crap don’t want the truth to come out! Keep in mind i only posted about my heart break over my son. Those of u who follow me on IG seen the post. My post was even shared on the news and now IG has disabled my account because of that post! Guess today I’ll accept those interviews from newsmax, fox, etc…Instagram you can not silence me!!! You deleted my account because my sons blood is on Biden’s hands!! 13 Heros blood is on Biden’s hands.”

According to Ms. Chappell’s allegations, Instagram flagged several of her older posts and told her it would suspend her account. According to the New York Post, the accounts appeared reactivated on Tuesday morning, and a Facebook spokesperson commented to the tabloid that it was a mistake to suspend it on the first place.

“We express our deepest condolences to Ms. Chappell and her family,” Facebook said in a statement to the Post. “Her tribute to her heroic son does not violate any of our policies. While the post was not removed, her account was incorrectly deleted and we have since restored it.”

Shana Chappell’s scathing criticism of President Biden

Before her account was “incorrectly” deleted, Shana Chappell published several posts honoring her brave son and also strongly criticizing President Biden.

“President Joe Biden This message is for you! I know my face is etched into your brain! I was able to look you straight in the eyes yesterday and have words with you. After I lay my son to rest you will be seeing me again! Remember I am the one who stood 5 inches from your face and was letting you know I would never get to hug my son again, hear his laugh and then you tried to interrupt me and give me your own sob story and I had to tell you ‘that this isn’t about you so don’t make it about you!!!’ You then said you just wanted me to know that you know how I feel and I let you know that you don’t know how I feel and you do not have the right to tell me you know how I feel.”

Shana Chappell’s case rocked social media. Her posts about her son, Kareem, went viral and the censorship case even found political voices.

For example, State Senator Melissa Melendez (R-CA), echoed the complaint on Twitter, “Shana Chappell, mother of Marine and American hero Kareem Nikoui killed in Kabul, has had her FB and Instagram accounts suspended for posts she made about her son.”

Melendez then criticized the social media platforms, “Facebook deactivated the account of Shana Chappell, mother of Marine Kareem Nikoui, killed in Kabul, after she posted her feelings about her son’s death. Now FB says ‘her account was incorrectly deleted and we have already restored it.’ Shame on you, Big Tech.”

The exit from Afghanistan ended the longest war fought by the U.S., but the results due to poor execution were pitiful. There were 13 brave soldiers killed, American citizens left to die and a humiliating military defeat for the nation.
