The end of Title 42 is near and the border crisis is deepening as states like Texas and Florida take measures to prevent Joe Biden from continuing to release illegal immigrants into the nation.

Texas Gov. Greg Abbott decided to send busloads of illegal immigrants to Washington DC as part of a new plan to counter federal immigration policies. Abbott’s plan is to apply the “eye for an eye” to the Biden administration that has been releasing migrants into the country without keeping full control of who enters and with what intentions.

“Texas sends border crisis to Washington”

This Thursday, April 14, the second bus arrived from Texas with more than a dozen illegal migrants who were released near the Capitol. In a Fox News report, they revealed that they are from Venezuela, Nicaragua, Cuba and Colombia.

“Biden refuses to come see the mess he’s made at the border. So Texas is bringing the border to him,” Abbott said on his Twitter account.

The Texas governor announced last week that he was directing the Texas Division of Emergency Management (TDEM) to transport migrants released from federal custody in Texas to the nation’s capital and other locations outside his state.

One individual, who identified himself as Juan, from Colombia, told Fox News that he flew to Mexico and crossed the Río Grande into the United States.

Thursday’s arrival follows that of the first bus, which arrived in the nation’s capital the previous morning. That bus also carried migrants from Venezuela, Nicaragua, Cuba and Colombia. Fox News learned that they had come from the Del Rio sector in Texas.

TDEM said it sent buses over the weekend to border communities where it coordinated with officials to identify these migrants. The agency added that each bus has the necessary capacity and supplies to transport up to 40 migrants released in Texas communities and take them to Washington DC.

“Texans demand and deserve an aggressive and comprehensive strategy to secure our border, not President Biden’s lackluster leadership,” Abbott said in a statement

“As the federal government continues to reverse common sense policies that once kept our communities safe, our local law enforcement has struggled to protect Texans from dangerous criminals, deadly drugs and illegal contraband flooding the Lone Star State.”

For his part, on Thursday Florida Governor Ron DeSantis warned released migrants not to travel to his state; this, after some of those who arrived by bus to DC exposed their intentions to travel to Miami.

“Don’t come,” DeSantis warned.

“To those who have entered the country illegally, fair warning: do not come to Florida. Life will not be easy for you, because we are obligated to uphold the immigration laws of this country, even if our federal government and other states won’t,” the Executive Office of the Governor of Florida exclusively told Fox News Digital in a statement.

“There is a legal process to obtain full American citizenship, which is an essential part of the promise of America. In Florida, we will uphold the law,” the statement concluded.

As early as November 2021, Florida’s governor had warned Biden that if he continued to send illegal migrants to his state he would return them to other states, or failing that, to Delaware the president’s home state.
