There is great concern within the Democratic Party about the massive political shift many Hispanics are making. They took Hispanics’ inherent conservative values for granted and started to embrace leftist policies that go against our core, precious principles: Freedom, family, and hard work.
Endorsing socialist policies, coupled with woke hysteria, Democrats continue to drive away hundreds of thousands of Hispanics. They foolishly continue to call us “Latinx”, push “affirmative action” discrimination, treat us as inept, and want us to falsely believe that the United States is systematically oppressive and racist.
This week a top advisor to Nikki Fried, the embattled Dem candidate for FL governor—who is also facing ethic complaints—accused El American of “misinforming” Hispanics. She falsely said that we were right-wing extremists and that, for that reason, the FBI should investigate us.
It’s sadly ironic that those who accuse us of being fascists are the ones who end up acting that way. This is perhaps the biggest challenge we have. We face a totalitarian mentality that does not tolerate that we unapologetically defend freedom, and directly speak to Hispanics with the truth so that they can make informed decisions. They do not tolerate it because they know that this will lead to their political demise. That today, Hispanics have the last word.
Another example of the wickedness and pettiness of progressives: Yesterday morning, we learned of the death of The King of Ranchera Music, Vicente Fernandez. A legend who made history. Today, hundreds of progressives attack him, calling him a homophobe and refusing to celebrate his undeniable contributions to Hispanic culture. Fernandez was a cultural icon for millions of Hispanics, not just Mexicans. To attack him today, the day of his unexpected death and as the entire whole world celebrates his legacy, is vile.
In short, it is clear that the challenge is huge, but these are exciting times. It is increasingly evident to us how important it is that El American exists. So, as we told Nikki Fried’s advisor:
Buckle up! We’re here to stay.
