This week comes loaded with the most woke content. Both the latest episode of The Last of Us and Marvel’s latest release, Ant-Man Quantumania, make explicit reference to the goodness of communism, but there have also been other bizarre news, typical of the incongruities of woke ideology.
The Last of Us and Quantumania
In episode 6 of The Last of Us, after multiple ordeals that left them on the brink of death, the protagonists finally reach a quiet and safe community. In the new settlement they can enjoy hot water, electricity and all kinds of comforts they haven’t had in 20 years, since the infection outbreak.
What is the secret of this idyllic community? It is based on communism and guns are prohibited.
From this post-apocalyptic series with a species of zombies infected with a fungus that allows them to communicate with each other, with lethal mushroom-headed monsters with no eyes, humans turned into 4-meter giant killers, and showing gasoline cars that work even 20 years after being abandoned, the least believable thing is that communism works.
Also striking is the survival rate of gender-fluid, non-binary, homosexual, and transgender people during the apocalypse. It rather gives the feeling that they have invented a new genre of science fiction: science-social-fiction.
Coincidentally, in the latest release of the Marvel factory, Ant-Man & The Wasp: Quatumania, we are also shown a super-advanced civilization of ants that in the end saves the heroes and heroines -especially heroines- and the entire universe. How did they manage to advance so far to become a superpower savior? By applying socialism. Of course they did. Michael Douglas’ character warns us that “socialism” is a word with “too much negative baggage,” but hey, in the end, it’s the solution to all the problems of the universe… according to Marvel.
Ninja Turtles are now women
Following the woke slogan of humiliating or killing off male heroes and replacing them with female characters, the new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles comics show how the original characters are killed off and replaced by four new ninja turtles, two of whom are girls. All much more egalitarian.
The new Elizabeth Warren
The case of Elizabeth Warren claiming Native American ancestry without having it seems to have created a school of thought. This week we came across the case of Muslim activist Raquel Evita Saraswati, who is the head of equity, inclusion and culture at the American Friends Service Committee (AFSC). According to her, her Arab, Latino and South Asian background makes her uniquely qualified for the position.
Too bad her own mother has revealed that Rachel Evita Saraswati is actually named Rachel Elizabeth Seidel and is “white as snow.” Her ancestors are German and British on her mother’s side, and Italian on her father’s side.
In a similar case, racial activist and former fugitive who belonged to the Black Panther and Communist Party during the 1960s and 1970s, Angela Davis, discovered something shocking about her past on the PBS program, Finding Your Roots.
In her activist days, she participated in a robbery that resulted in the death of 4 people, which put her on the FBI’s most wanted list. Now 79 years old, she discovered during a television program that her ancestors came to America on the Mayflower.
According to the leftist mindset, the 101 white people who arrived in 1620 on the Mayflower are something like the root of all evils caused by white supremacism. So in the case of Angela Davis, calculating her “reparations” is going to be tricky, and she may even have to pay.
Public schools infested with woke teachers
A Woke teacher from Maryland, that, of course, has a shaved hair, multiple nose piercings and tags of “non-binary,” “pan/bi” and with pronouns “xe, xem, xir, and xirsen” on her TikTok account, is under investigation for saying in class that opposing theft is “white supremacism.”
Apparently, this history teacher told her black students that they “have the right to reduce the country to ashes,” since their “ancestors [enslaved] built it.” She added that white people can’t have a say against it, since “their opinion on this is at best irrelevant and at worst they are literally propagating white supremacism.”
It seems their wokeism has gone so far overboard that they have ended up associating African-Americans with theft and destruction of property, but justifying it. Yet another example of condescension and soft racism from white woke professors.
