EL AMERICAN premieres a new program: “Aguilar Opina”, a program where Alfonso Aguilar, together with experts, analyzes the most important issues and news of American society.

In this first episode, he talks about how Hispanics are turning to the Republican Party, seeing how the Democratic Party’s policies are ruining their lives. To do so, Aguilar interviewed Rep. Andy Biggs (R-AZ) and former Texas Governor and former Secretary of Energy Rick Perry. Finally, he explores the week’s issues with Vanessa Vallejo, co-editor-in-chief of El American, and Daniel Garza, president of Libre Initiative

They also talk about the persecution faced by former President Donald Trump, following the raid of his Mar-a-Lago residence by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). “It’s a tyrannical move by the government. And we see that, they just weaponized 87,000 new IRS agents in this new legislation that’s coming out. You’re seeing the weaponization of the government against the American people,” said Congressman Andy Biggs.

Biggs detailed that since before he became president, they had already threatened to go against Trump and all those who supported him. “There’s no one who doesn’t think this was done for political reasons, not even Andrew Cuomo. When you look at this, you know it was done for political reasons and it’s done in such a way to intimidate.”

Vanessa Vallejo said that this proceeding against Trump shows how the Democrats are using power for their political ends. “What this shows is how drunk on power the Democrats are and how politicized the DOJ and FBI are.”

Vallejo recalled the actions of Hillary Clinton and Hunter Biden, which merit investigations and which the Justice Department has ignored. “It is clear that the FBI and the DOJ are not acting in a fair and impartial manner. This is a political persecution.”

Economics and Hispanics

Former Texas Governor and former Secretary of Energy Rick Perry spoke about oil, energy and the American economy. “The wealth that is created by fossil fuels allows innovation to come in that we can find the problems and find a way to address the climate challenges that we have. We’re not going to do it by just saying ‘we’re going to use wind and solar and we’re going to live happily ever after.’ We’re not going to do it and we have to be honest about that.”

In closing, Daniel Garza, president of Libre Initiative, discussed how Democrats have lost Hispanic support. “I think Hispanic people are rejecting the Biden administration for its mismanagement and, furthermore, the Democrats themselves don’t like him and are rejecting him. But these socialist policies are the same ideas of these candidates, so let’s not pretend they are different.”
