Former President Donald Trump commented on the Secret Service’s claim that there are no visitation logs from President Joe Biden’s house in Wilmington, Delaware.
“The White House just announced that there are no LOGS or information of any kind on visitors to the Wilmington house and flimsy, unlocked, and unsecured, but now very famous, garage. Maybe they are smarter than we think!” The former president stated via his Truth Social account.
Following news that Biden’s attorneys had uncovered a cache of secret documents inside the home’s garage, Republicans on Capitol Hill demanded the visitor logs this past weekend. The White House routinely maintains thorough visitor logs, but according to Biden’s attorneys, his Delaware house has no such record.
Trump’s remarks come about five months after the FBI carried out a search and seizure at Trump’s Mar-a-Lago home and retrieved about 300 documents with classified markings, some of which were marked “top secret,” that the former president had neglected to turn over to the National Archives as required by law.
At the time, President Biden said that Former President Trump had been “irresponsible.
“Mar-a-Lago is a highly secured facility, with Security Cameras all over the place, and watched over by staff & our great Secret Service. I have INFO on everyone!” Trump stated on Monday.
