Former President Donald Trump has moved from his South Florida mansion to his golf club in New Jersey, where he plans to spend the summer.

Trump made the move a week ago, after spending the last few months at Mar-a-Lago, the exclusive Palm Beach property he made his residence after leaving the White House last January.

According to CNN, members of the office established by Trump after his time as President have also moved to the golf club in Bedminster (New Jersey), from where they will work this summer, although they will also make regular visits to the tycoon’s offices in New York.

Bedminster is located about 70 kilometers from the Big Apple and Trump already spent numerous weekends there during his time as president.

This small New Jersey town will become for a few months the epicenter of the country’s conservative politics in which Trump maintains enormous influence.

Since January, numerous Republican Party figures have traveled to Mar-a-Lago to meet with the former president or receive his support for upcoming races, and Trump has hosted numerous fundraisers for candidates and political causes, which will now move to the northeastern United States.

Trump is scheduled to participate on May 22 in one of the events aimed at raising money for the political action group (“SuperPAC”) Make America Great Again Action led by former top campaign advisor Corey Lewandowski.

Trump confirmed last month that he is “100% considering” running for president in 2024 and is looking at Florida Governor Ron De Santis as his possible vice presidential candidate.
