Former President Donald Trump is currently considering launching his own social media platform, according to Jason Miller, one of the former president’s top advisers.

“I would expect that we will see the president re-emerge on social media,” Miller said in an interview on Breitbart News on Saturday when asked about Trump’s plans.

Miller also explained that several channels are currently being explored for this resurgence.

“Whether it’s joining an existing platform or creating their new platform, there are a number of different options and a number of different meetings that they’ve been having on that front,” he said. “There’s nothing imminent on that.”

The former president has been banned from several social networks. He is currently suspended from Twitter. According to CEO Jack Dorsey, the decision is permanent.

Something similar is happening with Facebook. After the U.S. Capitol riots on January 6, Trump was banned on Facebook, a ruling that was also extended to other platforms such as YouTube, Instagram (owned by Facebook) and Snapchat.

The social media companies justified this censorship as an effort to protect against violence, claiming that Trump had violated their terms of use.
