Former President Donald Trump (2017-2021) assured Monday that he will “probably” wait until the legislative elections at the end of next year to reveal whether he will run for president in 2024.
In an interview on the Fox News television network, Trump reiterated that it is an option he is considering.
“I’m certainly thinking about it,” the New York mogul said.
“I think a lot of people are going to be very happy, frankly, with the decision, and I will probably announce it after the midterm elections,” the former president said, referring to the legislative elections scheduled for November 2022.
Although he has not made it official, Trump’s campaign team is raising money for what is considered to be his candidacy.
Trump announced two weeks ago the launch of his own media company, Trump Media Technology Group (TMTG), with plans for the time being to open a social network and a subscription video service.
The former president had expressed his interest in this platform in order to communicate directly with his followers, especially after the censorship suffered by Big Tech.
