Hispanics feel that it is currently a good opportunity to be Latino in the United States. This was revealed in a survey conducted by Axios/Ipsos. Likewise, the study highlights that most Hispanics do not approve of Biden’s performance as president.

60% of Hispanics also believe that the president should not run for reelection. However, most support policy positions closer to the Democratic Party in gun control and healthcare.

54% of them feel Hispanics do not have the same opportunities in the United States. Moreover, most Hispanics believe that the U.S. is a racist country.

“Two thirds (67%) of Latino Americans agree that the government has an important role to play in making sure everyone has equal access to opportunity, and only 22% say America is not a racist country,” the study said.

The Axios/Ipsos survey was conducted from September 30 to October 8, 2022. It is based on a nationally representative probability sample of 1,005 Latino/Hispanic adults ages 18 and older in the United States.
