A WEEK with a lot of information: Elon Musk no longer wants to buy Twitter. Luis Echeverría died, and Andrés Manuel López Obrador (AMLO) opens war fronts against the Institutional Revolutionary Party. In the United States, Joe Biden confirms his unfitness for office. Gerardo Garibay Camarena talks about all these issues in Fuerte y Claro.
Garibay Camarena talked about Echeverría’s career and how he influenced, in a negative way, not only politics but Mexican society as a whole. Luis Echeverría Álvarez was a Mexican lawyer and politician who served as president of Mexico from December 1, 1970, to November 30, 1976.
“Echeverría was a guy who bragged about being a third world leader, who wanted to turn Mexico towards the left, towards socialism, and practically towards communism, but at the same time launched a dirty war against the left. On the one hand, he received the Chilean communists who had been fleeing after the suicide of Salvador Allende, and, on the other, he killed the Mexican communists. This is how delirious Mexico’s politics are,” commented Garibay Camarena.

He also pointed out the latest actions of López Obrador’s government against Alejandro Moreno Cárdenas. He referred to the alleged corruption cases uncovered around former President Enrique Peña Nieto.
Additionally, the political analyst spoke about the end of the agreement between Elon Musk and Twitter to buy the company. Finally, he explained how Joe Biden’s leadership was affected after his latest public mistakes, in which he misread his speech this week.
