Country star Chris Stapleton was appointed to sing the National Anthem at Superbowl night yesterday evening in Arizona. The presentation was praised by numerous artists and personalities and even got some tears from the Philadelphia Eagles’ coach Nick Sirianni

Sammy Hagar, former singer from the band Van Halen among other projects, went on Instagram to say it was the best National Anthem performance since the ones from other singers such as Aretha Franklin or Whitney Houston.
The 44-year-old musician attended the Kansas City Chiefs vs. Philadelphia Eagles game at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona, with his wife Morgane and two of his oldest children, daughter Ada, 12, and son Waylon, 13.
Troy Kotsur, an Oscar-winning actor who played the lead in the feature film CODA in 2021, spoke American sign language alongside Stapleton during his rendition of the national anthem.
Christopher Alvin Stapleton, known professionally as Chris Stapleton, is a Grammy award-winning country singer-songwriter and guitarist. He was born on April 15, 1978 in Lexington, Kentucky, and grew up in the rural town of Staffordsville.
Stapleton began his musical career as a songwriter in Nashville, Tennessee, writing for artists such as Adele, Luke Bryan, and George Strait. He also co-wrote several hits for country duo, Florida Georgia Line.
In 2013, Stapleton made his solo debut with the album “Traveler,” which received widespread critical acclaim and was named the “Album of the Year” at the 2015 Country Music Association Awards.
