Joy Behar, presenter of The View, once again exposed her ideological views by supporting Joe Biden for holding classified documents that were recently found at his office un UPenn, something she had previously criticized former President Donald Trump for doing because in her opinion, he is a “liar and a thief”.
“We all know that Trump is a liar and a thief. We know that. So it’s not that big a jump to say that he obstructed and he lied. We don’t think Biden is a liar and a thief, so we give him the benefit of the doubt,” Behar told “The View” panel .
The White House Counsel’s Office refused to provide an explanation for why it took more than two months before notifying the public that secret government records had been discovered in a President Joe Biden-used private office in Washington, D.C. before the 2020 election.
During a meeting with Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau at the North American Leaders’ Summit in Mexico, reporters questioned Biden about the documents, which were discovered by personal attorneys. Biden did not answer.
Former President Donald Trump said on Tuesday that the Justice Department kept quiet about the papers’ discovery to avoid influencing the results of the congressional elections in November 2022.
CBS News broke the news of the documents’ finding in relation to Democrat Joe Biden early on Monday afternoon.
Soon later, a Biden lawyer claimed that on November 2, a “limited number” of secret documents were discovered in a locked closet in an office at the Penn Biden Center.
The office was used by Biden from January 2017 and January 2021 when he was a private citizen.
