A Florida Democrat voter went viral on social media for his particular way of expressing gratitude to Gov. Ron DeSantis in the midst of his deployment of assistance for the devastating Hurricane Ian. In view of the authorities’ effort to supply power to the areas most affected by the storm, the man stated that he will vote for the reelection of the Republican candidate.

The citizen resides in Arcadia, DeSoto County, whose population has been hard hit by flooding as a result of the hurricane.

In the video, the man is seen talking about a load of fuel that had been received in Arcadia overnight and expressing his gratitude to the Republican governor.

“That gas is here in Arcadia. I don’t know about the rest of y’all, but it’s here in Arcadia, so y’all know who we’re voting for. I don’t know about the rest of you all motherf***ers, but I’m voting for DeSantis, and I’m a Democrat. So y’all call it whatever the f*** you want to call it.”

As part of his damage assessment work, Gov. DeSantis was in Arcadia over the weekend, taking a boat tour.

According to a WFLA report, some 840,000 power outages have been reported in the area alone as a result of Hurricane Ian, and some 42,000 linemen are actively working to restore service. So far, power has been restored to more than 1.8 million homes across the state.

Devastation from Category 4 Hurricane Ian has been devastating to southwest Florida, with entire towns and cities battered by high winds and torrential rains.

Florida’s first lady, Casey DeSantis, announced that the Florida Disaster Fund had raised more than $21 million over the weekend to assist in recovery and relief efforts.
