Ukraine called Russian President Vladimir Putin’s statements “further proof of deliberate genocide” because he said that the West wants to fight against Russia “to the last Ukrainian.”

“There is no ‘collective Western’ plan. Only a specific Z army that entered sovereign Ukraine, shelling cities and killing civilians. Everything else is primitive propaganda,” Mikhail Podolyak, adviser to the head of the President’s Office, said in a message on Twitter.

Therefore, he added, “Mr. Putin’s mantra of ‘war to the last Ukrainian’ is one more proof of deliberate genocide by Russia.”

The Russian president warned yesterday that Russia has not yet started “anything serious” in Ukraine and noted that at the same time, Russia does not refuse to hold peace talks.

“Today, we heard that they want to defeat us on the battlefield. What can one say? Let them try? We often hear that the West wants to fight with us to the last Ukrainian. This is a tragedy for the Ukrainian people, but it seems that everything points to that,” the Kremlin chief maintained.
