The Centre for Israel and Jewish Affairs in Canada reported Thursday that at least four Palestinian children were injured during the escalating violence against Israel. “No civilians, especially children, should not have to suffer from #Gaza terror,” the center wrote on Twitter.
The center detailed that the children were transferred to Israel to be treated by health personnel. “Four Palestinian children wounded when Palestinian Islamic Jihad missiles exploded in Gaza were transferred to #Israel for treatment. Wishing for their speedy recovery”.

The situation came after UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, Michelle Bachelet, called for an end to the attacks earlier in the day. “Inflicting harm on any child during a conflict is deeply disturbing, and the killing and amputation of so many children this year is unconscionable,” the high commissioner said.
Investigating Palestinian attacks
The United States called this week for an investigation into the attacks in Gaza in recent days while welcoming the cease-fire reached between Israel and the Palestinian Islamic Jihad.
Speaking to the media while on board the presidential plane, White House spokeswoman Karine Jean-Pierre endorsed President Joe Biden’s remarks he said on Sunday. She assured the US government would support a thorough investigation into what happened.
