A recent poll gives a slight edge to Arizona Republican gubernatorial candidate Kari Lake, who received the endorsement of former President Donald Trump, ahead of her Democratic challenger, Katie Hobbs.
According to a Trafalgar Group poll, Lake, a former TV host, and Republican candidate, has a slight 0.7% lead over Hobbs, the Democratic candidate who is now the local secretary of state.

Lake’s small lead
The race narrows, even more, when the Libertarian Party candidate, Barry Hess, has 2.6% of popular support, while only 5.1% of those polled have not made a decision.
Interestingly, the poll results vary concerning the Senate race. The data indicate that Democrat Mark Kelly is ahead of Republican Blake Masters with a 3.3% lead. Meanwhile, Libertarian Marc Victor has 4.4 % of voting intention, and only 3.7 % remain undecided.
Lake, who promises to deal with the border crisis with an iron fist, and Hobbs, whose campaign has focused primarily on pro-abortion arguments, will face off in the general election in November to succeed the incumbent governor, Republican Doug Ducey.
