Last Monday, actor Jeremy Renner, known for very prominent roles in movies such as Marvel’s Avengers saga, The Hurt Locker, and American Hustler, updated fans on his rehabilitation two months after being hospitalized following a near-fatal snowplow accident on New Year’s Day.
The 52-year-old actor posted a video to his Instagram Story showing himself on a stationary bike, pedaling with one leg, according to Page Six. “Whatever it takes,” he captioned the post.

In the next slide, Renner demonstrated that he’s working on his “mental rehabilitation” as well, posting a snapshot of “The Book of Awakening” by Mark Nepo.
The Hollywood star was using his snowplow outside of Reno, Nevada, on Jan. 1 to help his nephew get his truck out of the snow when he was mistakenly pulled beneath and ran over by the plow.
Evangeline Lilly, Renner’s Marvel co-star, stated earlier this month that his recuperation had been nothing short of a “miracle.” The report from Page Six also indicates that she was expecting to “hold his hand” by his bedside while he “moaned and groaned in pain,” but instead found him “wheeling himself around, laughing with his friends.”
Jeremy Renner’s breakout performance came with the action film “The Hurt Locker” in 2008. His performance as a bomb disposal technician in Iraq got him an Academy Award nomination for Best Actor and began his Hollywood career. After this accomplishment, he went on to appear in films such as “The Town” (2010), “Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol” (2011), and “The Bourne Legacy” (2012). (2012).
The actor is also well known as Clint Barton or Hawkeye, the role he first performed in “The Avengers” in 2012. He returned for many sequels, including “Avengers: Age of Ultron” (2015), “Captain America: Civil War” (2016), and “Avengers: Endgame” (2018). (2019). Renner also appeared in and produced the critically praised film “Wind River” (2017).
In addition to his acting career, Renner is also a talented musician. He has performed as a singer and guitarist in several bands, including the group “Sons of Ben”. He released his first single, “Main Attraction”, in 2020, and has stated that he plans to continue pursuing music as a side career.
Renner has been married and divorced twice, and has a daughter named Ava Berlin Renner. He is also known for his philanthropic work, and has supported charities such as the American Foundation for AIDS Research and the Baby2Baby organization.
With his continued success in Hollywood, Renner is sure to remain a prominent figure in the entertainment industry for years to come after his full recovery.
