Amber Heard accused Johnny Depp of abusing her with physical and psychological violence, however, during the defamation trial that is being carried out, vexations perpetrated by the actress came to light that would show that she may have lied in her allegations of abuse.
As the trial progresses, it has become evident that there was abuse between the couple during their relationship.
Depp has admitted to drug abuse but has also assured that he sought medication to achieve detoxification and during this process, he counted on his then-wife Amber Heard, whom he accused of causing withdrawal symptoms and of bringing him to the brink of suicide.
“It’s very strange when one day you’re Cinderella, so to speak, and then in 0.6 seconds you’re Quasimodo. “I didn’t deserve that, nor did my children, nor did the people who have believed in me for all these years. I didn’t want any of those people to believe that I had done them wrong or lied to them or that I was a fraud. I pride myself on honesty,” Depp said.
The actor was left without his role as Captain Jack Sparrow after Disney decided to dispense with his services, and although it is unknown if the reason for the dismissal was because of the allegations that Amber made against his ex-partner, thousands branded him as “violent and abusive;” and later, it would be Warner who dispensed the actor’s contract in the saga of Fantastic Beasts.
At the trial, Johnny Depp claimed that he has “never” hit a woman in his life, while he was able to prove with photographs that Heard cut off his finger, put out a cigarette on his face, and may have even defecated in the actor’s bed.
Depp was “condemned” by society before the trial and many sympathized with Amber for having been the victim of a case where only one side of the story was known.
Heard’s former assistant, who intervened during the fourth day of the trial, described the actress as an unstable and dramatic person and revealed, “She jumped out of her chair, put her face about 4 inches from my face. She spat in my face, saying how dare you ask me for the salary you’re asking for.”

Heard allegedly cut Depp’s finger and stubbed out a cigarette in his face
For his part, Depp gave details of his worst fight with Heard, in which he lost part of his finger and suffered a burn on his face after his ex-wife put out a cigarette on his face.
Depp recounted that during an argument he went behind a bar, grabbed a bottle of vodka and took a shot. Amber allegedly walked up, grabbed the bottle and threw it at him. She then allegedly grabbed a second bottle of vodka which reached for Depp’s hand and cut his finger.
“I honestly didn’t feel the pain at first, what I felt was heat and I felt as if something were dripping down my hand,” Depp recalled. “Then I looked down and realized that the tip of my finger had been severed and I was looking directly at my bones sticking out and the meaty portion of the inside of your finger,” he said.
During his deposition, Depp was shown a photo of the remains of his finger taken at the hospital while he was lying on a gurney. Upon seeing it, Johnny recalled another assault during the fight — Amber had put a cigarette out in his face.
“Ms Heard had taken my cigarette from the ashtray and stomped it out in my face,” he recalled.
When Depp was questioned about why he didn’t leave Heard after all the abuse he suffered, the actor revealed that he was afraid Amber would take her own life, as the actress used to make comments about it if he dared to leave her. “She would threaten to kill herself if I left her,” he claimed.

Depp said he did not see Heard between April 22 and May 21, 2016. When Heard was out of town, Depp wanted to go to the penthouse where the actress was staying to pick up some items important to him, but his security guard told him it wasn’t a good time.
“On my side of the bed was human fecal matter,” he recalled. “I laughed. It was so outside, it was so bizarre and so grotesque that I could only laugh.”

During the trial, an alleged infidelity of the actress with Cara Delevingne and Elon Musk came to light.
Josh Drew, an ex-husband of a friend of Amber Heard, stated in Daily Mail that the meeting would have taken place in a penthouse, owned by Johnny Depp, in Los Angeles.
The Tesla owner has already denied these reports and confirmed the exact moment when he began his relationship with Heard.
“Cara and I are friends, but we’ve never done intimate things, she’ll confirm (…) I want to confirm again that Amber and I only started dating about a month after filing for divorce. I was never close to her during her marriage,” Musk said.
A video from Depp’s legal team showed footage of Heard meeting in Depp’s apartment with two men: Elon Musk and actor James Franco. Both are called to testify on Depp’s behalf, to prove that they had a relationship with Heard while she was married to the actor.
The encounter would have occurred a day after the alleged fight in which Johnny Depp left bruises on the actress; if the video proves to be true, there is a high probability that the counterclaim of $100 million dollars that the actress launched against her ex-husband will not prosper.
