Biden Warns About Nuclear ‘Armageddon’ Over Ukraine at Democratic Party Fundraiser

At a Democratic Party fundraising event in New York on Thursday night, President Joe Biden said that the world risks nuclear “Armageddon” for the first time since the Cold War and that he is trying to find Russian President Vladimir Putin’s “off-ramp.”

“We have not faced the prospect of Armageddon since Kennedy and the Cuban missile crisis” in 1962, Biden said at the event.

Putin is “not joking” when he threatens to use nuclear weapons, he added, and “we are trying to figure out what is Putin’s off-ramp. Where does he find a way out?”

In a call with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy on Tuesday, Biden pledged a $625 million more in security assistance to Ukraine. This brings the total of military aid alone to $17.5 billion.

“Pursuant to a delegation of authority from the President, I am authorizing our twenty-second drawdown of U.S. arms and equipment for Ukraine since August 2021.,” Biden announced. “This $625 million drawdown includes additional arms, munitions, and equipment from U.S. Department of Defense inventories.   This drawdown will bring the total U.S. military assistance for Ukraine to more than $17.5 billionsince the beginning of this Administration.”

“We will continue to stand with the people of Ukraine as they defend their freedom and independence with extraordinary courage and boundless determination,” Biden added. ” The capabilities we are delivering are carefully calibrated to make the most difference on the battlefield and strengthen Ukraine’s hand at the negotiating table when the time is right.”

This is tantamount to the U.S. waging a ‘proxy war’ against the nuclear-armed power of Russia. On Thursday, Zelensky himself argued for NATO to conduct a ‘preemptive strike’ on Russia to purportedly prevent it from using nuclear weapons.

This is extraordinarily dangerous. Not only would a preemptive strike fail to stop Russia from deploying nuclear weapons, it could foreseeably trigger a nuclear exchange. This could potentially kill millions throughout the region, if not throughout the world.

Donald Trump earlier offered his services as a diplomatic broker to put an end to the destructive Russia-Ukraine War.

“This is a big event that should not entail a big solution, at least not yet. The Russia/Ukraine catastrophe should NEVER have happened, and would definitely not have happened if I were President,” Trump wrote on Truth Social.

“Do not make matters worse with the pipeline blowup. Be strategic, be smart (brilliant!), get a negotiated deal done NOW,” he added. “Both sides need and want it. The entire World is at stake. I will head up group???”

Ukraine is not even a ‘democracy’ and it certainly does not support ‘freedom.’ Zelenskyy has banned ten pro-Russian and socialist opposition parties, and Ukrainians are now suspected of being behind a Moscow bombing that killed a politician’s daughter.

As for U.S. foreign policy, the Biden regime is a prime suspect behind the Nord Stream 2 bombing, as Columbia Professor Jeffrey Sachs drove home in a Bloomberg interview earlier this week.

“The destruction of the Nord Stream pipeline, which I would bet was a US action, perhaps, the US and, and Poland…” Sachs began.

“Right, Jeff? Jeff, we gotta stop there,” the Bloomberg host interrupted. “That’s, that’s quite a statement,as well. Why do you feel absolutely, that that was a US action? What evidence do you have of that?”

“Well, first of all, there’s direct radar evidence that US helicopters, military helicopters that are normally based in Gdansk, were circling over this area,” Sachs answered.”We also had the threats from the United States earlier in this year that one way or another, we are going to end Nord Stream.”

In February, President Biden had warned: “If Russia invades… then there will be no longer a Nord Stream 2. We will bring an end to it.”

“But how will you do that, exactly, since…the project is in Germany’s control?” a reporter asked.

“I promise you, we will be able to do that,” Biden said.

Victoria Nuland, Under Secretary of State for Political Affairs at the State Department, issued a similar warning to Russia in late January.

“If Russia invades, one way or another, Nordstream 2 will not move forward,” Nuland vowed.

It is a given that the United States would never publicly claim responsibility for a clandestine operation to blow up the Nordstream 2 pipeline, since this would be tantamount to an act of war against nuclear-armed power Russia.

The question is: Why is the United States so deadset on nuclear brinksmanship over an unfree, non-NATO country run by a globalist puppet with a penchant for irrational and inflammatory remarks?

Regardless of the reason, there is one thing for certain: The U.S. needs to return to the sensible foreign policy leadership that was demonstrated under Donald Trump before the world is literally in the midst of nuclear Armageddon.
