JEN PSAKI was the White House Press Secretary from the beginning of the Biden administration until mid-2022. Away from her role as a civil servant, she occasionally comments on political news for media outlets such as MSNBC. In her last appearance on Meet the Press, she indirectly acknowledged the failure of the Biden administration.

In the midst of a discussion about the midterm elections, Psaki remarked on “extremism” as the GOP’s main Achilles heel for this cycle.

However, the now analyst acknowledged that, if the magnifying glass falls on Joe Biden, the Democrats stand to lose. “If it is a referendum on the president, they will lose,” she said.

In addition, Psaki drew up a narrow list of issues that could hurt the Democratic Party, primarily in key states.

“Crime is a huge vulnerability for Democrats. I would say one of the biggest vulnerabilities. And if you look at Pennsylvania, for example, what’s been interesting to me is it’s always you follow the money, and where are people spending money. And in Pennsylvania, the Republicans have been spending millions of dollars on the air on crime ads against [Democrat John] Fetterman because that’s where they see his vulnerability,” the former official added.

“So, yes, the economy is hanging over everything,” Psaki concluded. “But you do have to look at state by state factors. And crime is a huge issue in the Pennsylvania race.”

The truth is that the former Press Secretary hit the nail right on the head. It turns out that the GOP’s resurgence in local polls coincided with the “ads” on John Fetterman’s record on crime.

As reported by the Huffington Post, the Senate Leadership Fund spent $3.1 million per week for the entire month of September in Pennsylvania.

To remedy this situation, the campaign of the current lieutenant governor of the “keystone state” turned to a local sheriff to appear in Fetterman’s propaganda and try to clean up his soft-on-crime image.
