El discurso antidemocrático de Biden | Aguilar Opina

Leer en Español

In this edition of Aguilar Opina we discuss President Biden’s anti-democratic prime-time speech. Alfonso Aguilar also interviews Terry Schilling, president of the American Principles Project, to discuss the trans agenda of the Democrats.

Finally, we analyze the week’s issues with Vanessa Vallejo, co-editor-in-chief of El American, and Daniel Garza, president of LIBRE Initiative.

Terry Schilling explained that the Democrats are trying to segregate society with an agenda that talks about gender identities. He explained that part of the strategy is deconstructing everything known about gender.

“There is a whole agenda. The whole ‘latinx’ push is the same as the whole transgender struggle. They want to destroy gender. These are the progressives. And progressives believe that laws, rules, institutions, and any social construct like gender hinder human flourishing. We are seeing how they are completely destroying every aspect of America and abroad,” said Schilling.

Regarding President Biden’s speech that has generated debate within the American society, Vanessa Vallejo emphasized that the President’s message is that if he is not elected for a new term, what is coming will be the end of democracy.

“I think Biden’s strategy is to target his base that was discouraged by the economy and what he wants is to win back his base. His idea is to say that there is a group of people who, according to him, want to end democracy,” said Vallejo.

Daniel Garza agreed with Vallejo and warned that behind the discourse there is really an attempt to fragment society and accuse those who do not defend ideas contrary to freedom of being fascists. He argued that this situation will electorally disadvantage the democrats.

“The sad thing is that the idea is to convince the American people to turn against family, friends or neighbors for political reasons […] If you do not embrace everything that does not represent your values, then you are a fascist and that is just what is being a fascist. I hope that moderate people will look at this tactic of dividing the country,” said the LIBRE Initiative president.
