Joe Biden’s approval rating among Hispanics has plummeted by at least 40 points in just one year. This was revealed by a survey conducted by Civiqs, which compared data from January 2021 and February 2022.

The study highlighted that during January 2021, the Democratic president had an approval rating of 65% and a disapproval rating of 26%, which represented a 39-point support for the president. However, in February 2022 he has an approval rating of 44% and a disapproval of 45%, which means a drop of 40 points in his popularity.

Joe Biden’s approval continues to fall

This is not the first time a poll has shown a drop in the Democratic president’s approval among Hispanics. In January, a Morning Consult/POLITICO poll noted that Biden had 55% disapproval and 37% approval.

Moreover, according to the data, the Democrat entered his second year in office with the worst job approval rating so far. “Forty percent of voters approve of Biden’s job performance, while 56 percent disapprove,” the study indicated.

Another poll published by El American in November 2021, also recorded the falling popularity of the Joe Biden-Harris administration. The poll, which surveyed 1,378 adults, shows that 53% of respondents disapprove of the way the Democratic administration is handling its job.

“While Biden remains unpopular, the same survey shows that the GOP is well poised for a potential electoral sweep net year,” El American stated.
