The left and Democrats are really good at kicking us when we are down. And now they have their Big Tech friends with them. Not only do they mock us for questioning an election marred with irregularities, but they unleash their inner demons and demand to impeach Donald Trump again. This time because a group of Trump supporters broke into the capital on January 6th to demand a fair electoral vote count. The left claims he asked them to do it even though he never did.
Many argue some of these people weren’t really Trump supporters, but of course, the mainstream media is hellbent on proving us wrong. An AP article titled “Records show fervent Trump Fans fueled US Capital takeover,” they called these supporters “the insurrection mob.” They say that this mob was made up of Republicans, white supremacists, and QAnon followers.
I don’t condone what any of the occupiers of the Capitol did. These actions made the people who were peacefully protesting in Washington, not to mention the 75 million Americans who voted for Trump and the GOP, look bad. I think they need to understand what a revolution actually means because this was not that.
That being said, the chaos could have largely been avoided if Democrats agreed to ease the minds of Republican voters who feel the election was stolen right from under them. They could have participated in the various state hearings and acted like they gave a damn about voter integrity or at least pretend like they did. While most of us complained and demanded action, there were obviously some that took matters into their own hands and broke the law.
Many of us conservatives needed a place to vent, and we thought that we could do that on social media with like-minded conservatives who felt the growing frustration. However, this has been met with disapproval from the social media lords who like to control us. In George Orwell’s 1984, Syme tells Winston, “don’t you see that the whole aim of Newspeak is to narrow the range of thought? In the end, we shall make thoughtcrime literally impossible because there will be no words in which to express it.”
The Big Tech, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, just to name a few, have made their own creation of Newspeak, and if we don’t speak it- we are banned. They make the excuse that we are somehow promoting violence, but we all know that they let ISIS have their account, and I know, because I read some of their posts, that they can ask for our heads, and nothing is ever done to them. Another regular tweeter is Ayatollah Khamenei of Iran, a state sponsor of terrorism, and his tweets remain untouched.
On January 8th, 2021, President Trump tweeted: “The 75,000,000 great American Patriots who voted for me, AMERICA FIRST, and MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN, will have a GIANT VOICE long into the future. They will not be disrespected or treated unfairly in any way, shape or form!!!” Then, he tweeted later, “To all those who have asked, I will not be going to the Inauguration on January 20th.” Apparently, these inoffensive posts were too “violent” to post on Twitter, and just like that – he was banned.
This has probably been in the works for quite some time, and Jack Dorsey, CEO of Twitter, was waiting for the opportunity to kick him off the platform. Like Twitter, Facebook’s CEO Mark Zuckerberg was on board with censoring anything positive on Trump while suppressing any negative news regarding Joe or Hunter Biden.
According to Paul Bond from Newsweek, “ data compiled by Newswhip, which tracks Facebook likes, shares and comments as well as “influencer” shares on Twitter, roughly 1.94 million people engaged with the Post’s Hunter Biden story in the first 24 hours after publishing, and a total of 2.12 million readers as of Sunday. In comparison, 3.69 people read the Atlantic article accusing Trump of calling fallen soldiers “losers and suckers,” in the first 24 hours of its publishing, and 6.86 million people read the story as of Sunday. About 4.12 million people read The New York Times story on Trump’s tax returns in its first 24 hours, and 5.37 read it as of Sunday.”
Paul Bond goes on to say that both Jack Dorsey and Mark Zuckerberg came under scrutiny for their decisions to suppress the Hunter Biden story where The Post headlined, “Smoking Gun emails reveal how Hunter Biden introduced Ukrainian businessman to dad.” Clear evidence that Twitter and Facebook are the media messengers of the DNC.
Many conservatives, including me and my husband Dinesh D’Souza, have created an account with Parler because of these biased platforms. It is a new and unbiased platform that promotes free speech. But you see, free speech is a threat to the left’s “Newspeak,” so they decided to go after Parler with a vengeance.
John Matze, CEO of Parler, posted “We are the closest thing to competition Facebook and Twitter has seen in many years. I believe Amazon, Google, Apple worked together to try and ensure they don’t have competition. They will not win! We are the world’s last hope for free speech and free information. What they are doing is unprecedented, unfounded and absolutely disgusting. Shameful.”
Amazon will be shutting off Parler’s servers at midnight, January 11th. John Matze has said it could take up to a week to take it to a new server, but he’s optimistic and says it could be solved a lot sooner than that. Apple also banned Parler from its app store until they issue an invasive policy limiting free speech. Stay tuned to the details of what Parler has planned to do in the absence of being on the Apple App. Canceling conservatives is what they do best these days.
This isn’t my first experience with Amazon’s wrath against conservatives and cancel culture. With our own movie Trump Card, we experienced it on two fronts. First, buyers were told the physical DVD was sold out when it wasn’t. We knew that the company that handled our DVDs had supplied them with 25,000, and we also knew that Amazon had them sitting in their warehouse. When Paul Bond of Newsweek called them to inquire about it, they denied it. Then, when our movie was supposed to go live on October 9th, 2020—Amazon Prime mysteriously left it off its platform. Some kind of glitch according to them—yeah, right.
As you probably know by now, to them, speech that goes against their ideology is considered hateful and must be stopped. So when we can’t vent, misinformation is rampant, and the left controls what we say, how we say it, and where we say it, the division this creates in our society is beyond repair. When Joe Biden says that we must come together as one United States of America, I say, after what his side has done to us, no way Jose or more appropriately –Pepe!
