California authorities have offered a reward of nearly $100,000 for information leading to the murder of five men, three of them Latinos, for no apparent motive, leading them to believe they may be serial killers.

The Stockton Police Department offered the reward for information leading to the arrest of the suspect(s) in the deaths of 5 men ages 21 to 54 in less than 3 months.

An image of a person captured by a security camera was released to the public as the reward was offered, which reached $100,000 thanks to an anonymous donation, and a contribution from Crime Stoppers.

Stockton Police told ABC News that all of the victims were ambushed, none were robbed and none of the incidents were drug or gang-related.

The victims were identified as Paul Yaw, 35, Salvador Debudey Jr., 43, Jonathan Hernandez Rodriguez, 21, Juan Cruz, 52, and Lorenzo Lopez, 54.

The murders occurred between July 8 and September 27 of this year, during the night or in the early morning hours.

All of the victims were male and all were alone at the time they were fatally shot, police said.

Police are also assessing whether another murder that occurred in April 2021 may be linked to the person or persons responsible for this year’s deaths.
