A controversial statement by VP Kamala Harris back in 2015 is being shared across social media. In the video, Harris calls the entire demographic of 18 to 24 years old ‘Stupid.’ Watch:
‘They are stupid,’ the current VP, then Senator, states. ‘That is why we put them in dormitories, and they have a resident assistant. They make really bad decisions.’
The video became relevant after several polls indicated that Gen-Z voters (aged between 18 to 24-year-old) are the generation that voted in larger numbers for the Democratic Party in the latest Midterm elections.
Did the VP know back in 2015 that she was insulting her party’s most important demographic? We can guess that’s a question that will probably remain unanswered until the next election cycle.
