Dismissed FL State Attorney Now Exposed for Planning with DNC to ‘Attack’ DeSantis

Leer en Español

Last week documents of alleged corruption involving Andrew Warren, former Florida State Attorney, were released. The situation continues to be controversial and on Friday The Florida Standard published text messages sent to official cellular devices of the 13th Circuit state attorney with plans to attack Governor Ron DeSantis.

The media outlet detailed that the messages show how Warren collaborated with the Democratic Party for political purposes. “In an email and text message sent to Warren and the previous state attorney communications director Grayson Kamm, the Florida Democratic Party announced plans to hold a series of post-primary press conferences around the state. The focus includes issues that the Democratic Party of Florida feels are important to Floridians. (…) Kobie Christian and Travis Reuther with the Florida Democratic Party sent the messages on Friday inviting Warren and Kamm to help the Party begin the ‘attacks’ this coming Wednesday in Tampa.”

Former Florida Attorney General Criticizes DeSantis

Despite the release of the allegations against the former prosecutor, Warren has remained critical of Gov. Ron DeSantis for suspending him from office. “Ron DeSantis likes to brag about the so-called “free state of Florida,” but it seems that it’s only FREE for people who don’t express different viewpoints from his. Who’s he going after next?” —Warren wrote on his Twitter account.

The Florida Standard highlights that “using state-issued devices, communications channels, and state resources, including human resources, is a clear violation of Florida law. These violations are fireable offenses. Florida statute 104.31 clearly outlines specific rules for state officials concerning political activity.”
