Elon Musk keeps getting political and on Monday, he posted a message in which he referred to the 2024 presidential election. He assured that former President Donald Trump would be too old to assume the presidency, and therefore considers that the presidential candidate should be Governor Ron DeSantis.
“If DeSantis runs against Biden in 2024, then DeSantis will easily win, he doesn’t even need to campaign,” Musk said on Twitter.
Not all conservatives agree with Musk, however. Activist and TV host Jack Posobiec argued that no Republican would win the election handily. “That’s not how any of this works,” he commented.
Elon Musk’s support for Republicans
Last month, Elon Musk revealed that he voted for the Republican Party for the first time. He claimed that he voted for Mayra Flores, who won the election for Texas’s 34th Congressional District and took away a seat that had been held by Democrats for decades.
At that time, he commented that his current trend is to vote for and support Florida Governor Ron DeSantis in the 2024 presidential election.
