“Hunter Biden flew to Moscow for a meeting with a now-sanctioned Russian oligarch with reportedly close ties to Vladimir Putin, laptop files reveal,” the Daily Mail reported on Wednesday.

The outlet had access to some emails of the son of the current President of the United States, Joe Biden. It detailed that the documents show that Hunter Biden had been in contact with and praising Vladimir Yevtushenkov, an oligarch linked to the Russian president.

“Emails show the president’s son and his business partners were courting Yevtushenkov for an investment in their real estate company in 2012 and 2013,” explains the Daily Mail.

“A Sistema itinerary translated from Russian, which Ward reported was leaked to her from a source close to Yevtushenkov’s company, lists a March 14, 2012 ‘breakfast with Hunter Biden’ at the Ritz-Carlton in New York,” the outlet adds.

Russian oligarch sanctioned

According to the information, Yevtushenkov is a 73-year-old billionaire who owned a company that supplied Putin’s forces with drones currently used for deadly bombings in Ukraine, according to a report also reviewed by Daily Mail.

It was learned that for his closeness to the Russian regime, the man was sanctioned by the UK and Australia this month, according to Forbes. However, he remains unsanctioned by the Biden administration.
