El American’s Idiot of the Week award goes this time to young activist Greta Thunberg.
Despite her young age, her merits for the award are many and notorious. Her latest quip, however, was shocking: “Every year we kill more than sixty billion animals, not counting fish, whose numbers are so great that we only measure their lives by weight. What about their thoughts and feelings?
We do not know whether she means the thoughts and feelings of fish alone or includes those of the remaining sixty billion animals. If it is the former, she would be demonstrating an intolerable favoritism towards fish, although in any case she is making invisible the suffering of trillions of insects, which also suffer their own, how dare her?
The day Greta “Tantrum” Thunberg learns that many fish feed on other fish will be a trauma for her. Or maybe she does know and thinks they deserve to go extinct. She probably only cares about fish that, like her, are vegans.
After all, Greta Thunberg has always shown herself to be rather sectarian. For example, she only lectures the capitalist countries of the West which, according to her, are destroying the planet, but she hardly ever criticizes China, even though it pollutes much more. We suppose this is because China is already communist.
Greta Thunberg, puppet of those who hate freedom
Greta is very kind and compassionate towards animals, especially those in captivity, but she is always angry and hating human beings, especially those who try to be free. Maybe such bitterness is due to her strict vegan diet — which affects everyone — or maybe what bothers her is freedom and she prefers us in captivity.
The fact is that politicians and the media, who hate freedom as much as she does, are trying to turn Greta Thunberg into the most popular girl in the world, something like an intellectual and moral reference to be heeded, like the voice of humanity’s conscience. As if we humans were as bad as Mr. Burns, as dumb as Homer Simpson, and she was Lisa Simpson.
The funniest thing is that Greta Thunberg looks like a satirical caricature of Lisa Simpson, which in turn is a caricature of a repellent girl making fun of progressives We are letting ourselves be taught by the caricature of a caricature! Maybe we’re the idiots for allowing it, but for now, it’s Greta Thunberg who takes El American’s Idiot of the Week award.
