White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre haughtily responded to a question on Monday from Fox News correspondent Peter Doocy about the indiscriminate entry of illegal migrants across the southern border who are not required to prove proof of vaccination against COVID-19, contrary to the requirement for those entering the country legally.
“Somebody unvaccinated comes over on a plane, you say that’s not okay. Somebody walks into Texas or Arizona unvaccinated; they’re allowed to stay. Why?” Doocy asked.
In a mocking tone and letting out a wry smile, Jean-Pierre replied: “But that’s not how it works. It’s not like somebody walks over… that’s not how.”

However, it is no secret to anyone that, as Doocy points out in his counter-response, thousands of illegal migrants enter daily across the southern border without any health care and without having to show any proof of vaccination.
Illegal migrants and vaccination mandates
In fact, according to U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), 2,242,413 encounters with illegal migrants have been reported in border areas this year. Among them, border patrols have captured 66 terrorists so far in 2022.
According to data from the Federation for American Immigration Reform (FAIR), some 4.9 million illegal immigrants have entered the country under the pious eye of the federal government since Biden has been at the helm of the White House. This includes some 900,000 fugitives who managed to escape authorities, spreading themselves across the country.
FAIR President Dan Stein gives a striking analysis of the magnitude of the migration crisis.
“Roughly the equivalent of the entire population of Ireland has illegally entered the United States in the 18 months President Biden has been in office, with many being released into American communities,” Stein said in the report. “In that time, the Biden administration has blamed an unprecedented surge of illegal immigration on all sorts of external factors, except their own sabotage of our nation’s immigration laws.”
Stein stresses that until this administration “demonstrates a willingness” to enforce immigration control laws, the flow of illegal aliens and the incursion of lethal narcotics across the border will continue unabated.
The situation at the border is so evident that even CNN, a media outlet whose leftist bias and allegiance to the Democratic Party has cost it credibility, viewership, and profits, acknowledged that the influx of illegal immigrants under the Biden administration is unprecedented and out of control.
They even claim that the increase in illegal migration, up 11,000% since 2007, has become a problem for the federal government.
It should be noted that, according to Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) guidelines, all illegal immigrants detained in its detention centers are encouraged to be vaccinated but “cannot be forced.”
In contrast, CDC continues to require “non-U.S. citizen, nonimmigrant passengers arriving from a foreign country to the United States by air” to show proof of vaccination as a requirement for entry into the country.
A clear example is the case of tennis player Novak Djokovic, who was banned from entering the United States to participate in the U.S. Open because he had not been vaccinated against COVID-19.
So Jean-Pierre’s response demonstrates one of two possible scenarios: either the Press Secretary is ignorant of the problem at the southern border and the protocols and vaccination requirements for illegal immigrants, or she is blatantly lying on orders from the administration she represents.
