We are getting closer and closer to November’s midterm elections and everything points to a calamitous outcome for the Democrats. Latinos have become the new threat to the progressive party. For months now they have been sounding the alarm bells trying to win back a vote that they are beginning to consider lost; however, the false promises of redemption of the leftists are convincing less and less a population that wants to get ahead by their own means, fulfill the American dream and continue making the U.S. the most powerful country with the most opportunities in the world.

From Jill Biden’s comparison of Latinos to tacos, the president’s gaffes, and the terrible economic measures that have brought the nation to the doorstep of a possible recession, everything looks pretty uphill to win back an essential electorate in key states across the country.

During the last few years, Latinos have been the minority group with the best expectations and economic growth in the country, however, the terrible economic reality of the country, due to some very questionable policies, has begun to truncate the dreams of the Latino community.

According to a survey released Monday by Florida Atlantic University (FAU), Hispanic confidence in the economy plummeted in the second quarter of the year, falling from 92% to 78.3%, largely due to Biden’s inflation.

Latinos are entrepreneurial by nature, have 350,000 businesses in the country that generate 3 million jobs, and contribute nearly $2 trillion to the U.S. GDP. In the last 10 years Latino business numbers have grown 34%, outpacing the growth of any other demographic in the country; and this is basically the reason why Biden’s terrible economic policies have caused such a huge backlash against the Democratic Party.

Surely in November we will see a massive wave of Latinos turning to the Republican Party, and then we will start seeing headlines in the mainstream media accusing us of being “extremists, ultras, radicals” among other adjectives, just as they have been doing with Mayra Flores and other Latino GOP figures.

However, currently the biggest enemy of the Democratic Party is Joe Biden himself and the reality. Between the two of them they have done more damage to the progressive party than the Republicans will be able to do in decades.

We Latinos, for our part, far from taking sides with Democrats and/or Republicans, must do so for our traditional values: family, work, God and justice – not socialism – and whichever party or candidate helps us to promote and maintain these values is the one who will receive our vote. Today that party is definitely the Republican Party, but let everyone understand that our vote must be earned, honored and respected; in November we will let the entire country know.
